Fitness Assessment

When performing a fitness assessment it should often be performed every 6 weeks. Gynoid is when your adipose tissues are in the lower part of your body , like your hips an thighs . Android is when your adipose tissue are in the upper part of your body .individuals that have more weight in there abdominal area are more likely to get hypertension , Hyperlipidemia, Type 2 diabetes , Coronary artery Disease. There four different method for determining percent for fat , Skinfold Caliper measurement , Bioelectrical impedance ,Hydrostatic weighing , Bod Pod . Subcutaneous fat is found around muscles and outer portion of the body. Visceral fat is found in your organs. There’s also common diseases for obesity people Coronary Artery, Diabetes, Certain cancer, Hypertension. Hips is the largest circumference around the buttocks, above the gluteal fold . Waist are the smallest circumference above the umbilicus or navel and below the xiphoid process. To measure your hip an waist they would use a Gulick Tape measure. Fat mass is the portion of the body fat necessary to maintain normal body function. Essential body fat is the amount of the body is composed strictly of fat. Jackson –Pollack skinfold formula is used to determine percent body fat .Utilities clients age and sum of skinfold sites to determine percent body fat . Men’s skinfold sites are chest, abdomen and thigh. Women’s sites are triceps, suprailica and thigh. you would use skinfold caliper to measure the body fat of these places. Promoting strong bones

Vital at every age for healthy bones, exercise is important for treating and preventing osteoporosis. Not only does exercise improve your bone health, it also increases muscle strength, coordination, and balance, and it leads to better overall health.Exercise is only one part of an osteoporosis prevention or treatment program. Like a diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, exercise helps strengthen bones at any age. But proper exercise and diet may not be enough to stop bone loss caused by medical conditions, menopause, or lifestyle choices such as tobacco use and excessive alcohol consumption. It is important to speak with your doctor about your bone health. Discuss whether you might be a candidate for a bone mineral density test. If you are diagnosed with low bone mass, ask what medications might help keep your bones strong.The best exercise for your bones is the weight-bearing kind, which forces you to work against gravity. Some examples of weight-bearing exercises include weight training, walking, hiking, jogging, climbing stairs, tennis, and dancing. Examples of exercises that are not weight-bearing include swimming and bicycling. Although these activities help build and maintain strong muscles and have excellent cardiovascular benefits, they are not the best way to exercise your bones.When starting an exercise routine, you may have some muscle soreness and discomfort at the beginning, but this should not be painful or last more than 48 hours. If it does, you may be working too hard and need to ease up. Stop exercising if you have any chest pain or discomfort, and see your doctor before your next exercise session.

Customer Service

Customer Service is very important an is a  big role. This has to do with your life an your job. You have to have great customer service in order to have a job. They  look to see if your great with people so you can attract customers in. if you don’t have great customer service then they will most likely not hire you. You have to have a positive attitude no one like for some one to be depressed or sad. And also you want a greet someone with respect  so they feel welcome at all time . Make sure you help the customer if you find them struggling with something  ask if they need any type of  help. Always make sure you tell your hiring manager your great with people they’ll be looking  for that as quality. Make sure you can handle any type of customers because everyone is different in the world an everyone has different personalities. If you can handle anyone then you have great customer service . Great customer service involves being able to handle difficult customers and situations. You need to be able to get your job done without any complaints about being rude or half stepping your job. Having great customer service could even give you a raise or a good reputation at your job with these skills you can do more things to improve your job. also if you don’t have great customer service then you don’t have a great personality. So if you don’t have a good personality then you might want to practice it or work on it.

My role in Hypertension Awareness an Education

I learned a lot about Hypertension for the last two weeks . An I can tell you that I  have soaked up a lot of information as well. I learned that the average American consumes about 3400mg of sodium everyday. Fast food is often filled with lots of sodium. Water is important to maintain Homeostasis within the body. Hypertension is very dangerous. Hypertension is  bad because this causes high blood pressure. Silent killer is a another symptoms of hypertension. Both can cause risk of heart disease and stroke .You want to make sure u get tested for hypertension because  hypertension are not detected until its too late. An this is some of the stuff I learned the last past to weeks.

My first semester at fcc……

My first semester at Fcc was great . I enjoy the people in my class we got along so well so that’s a good thing (no drama). I really don’t like my academic class there okay but there hard and I don’t like how they do the grades. But anyways I love my lab we do fun thing. What I don’t like about lab it that there’s a lot of work an homework . But some how I manage to do it or get it done on time. I like my teacher mrs. V who understands me 95% on the time . I also learned a lot this First semester an hope to learn more.

What makes a person successful

What makes a person successful is feeling successful of whatever there trying to accomplish .Everyone has different goals some people’s goals might not be as challenging as other people’s goals. But everyone has chance to be successful and become what they want to be in the future. I feel that being successful is feeling good about what you do or accomplish. As long as you feel accomplished. Work hard, stay positive, stay healthy, and get enough sleep. Never give up and always try. Don’t push yourself to much. Always stay focused and never let anyone bring you down. This is what should make a person feel successful.

 

What was the multilab zumba class lilke

My feeling about the mulit-lab Zumba class was that I really enjoyed it! I love dancing so I was already excited about it. But what was more exciting was that I got to get on stage an dance to my favorite song at first I was nervous but when my song came on I hope on that stage like my life depended on it . An started to dances my life away .Besides that I liked that fact that I got to have a great time dancing with me friends and a chance to have fun with them too. Also felt sweet knowing the dance ahead of time and not mess up on none of the dances .So that how I felt about the multi-lab Zumba class hope to do it again.
